Parents of George W. Neal
George is on the 1850 census for Salem, Mercer, Pennsylvania as a 2 year old with parents John and Elizabeth Neal. John was born in Pennsylvania and Elizabeth in New York. They had the following other children: Daniel 1828, Hetty 1837, Mary 1838 and Samuel 1850. It is probably this George W. Neal who married Amelia Jane ‘Millie’ Clark in Crawford, Illinois on 13 march 1870. I have been unable to confirm with a marriage liscence, birth or death certificate. George W. Neal is the father of Ira Francis Neal.
