George S. Talcott writes the following in his application for membership in the Sons of the American Revolution:

Thomas Hart Hooker

There are many hundreds of Hooker ancestors who have sought and been accepted as members of the Sons/Daughters of the American Revolution. Ancestry.com has a searchable database of the applicants over the years. Some are easier to read than others…. This is not because of the stories, that can be heartwrenching, but because of the quality of the handwriting and reproduction.
Should you wish to pursue membership, these pages and the accompanying genealogy could assist you in your application.
